ISRO recently gave updates on Chandrayaan-3, its important Moon mission. The spacecraft is getting closer to the Moon and will try to softly land near its south pole on August 23.
Currently, the Lander part of Chandrayaan-3, which includes the Vikram lander and Pragyan rover, successfully adjusted their path to be 113 km by 157 km above the Moon's surface. Another path adjustment is planned for August 20, 2023, around 2 PM. This year, on July 14, Chandrayaan-3 was launched. It's a mission that follows Chandrayaan-2 and aims to show it can safely land and move around on the Moon.
