ISRO releases Moon's video as seen from Chandrayaan-3
On Saturday, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft successfully achieved lunar orbit entry. Provided that the remaining part of the ongoing mission progresses as intended, a safe landing near the Moon's little-explored south pole is expected between August 23 and 24. Since its July 14 launch, ISRO has been progressively maneuvering the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft into orbits at increasing distances from Earth.
The ISRO released a video of the Moon 'as viewed by Chandrayaan-3' on Sunday, a day after it entered the lunar orbit. The video displayed the Moon in bluish green color, showcasing numerous craters. The space agency captioned it as "Chandrayaan-3 Mission: The Moon, as viewed by Chandrayaan-3 during Lunar Orbit Insertion.
